@PatternChaser @autismsupsoc @actuallyautistic
You're not wrong:
Total, deeply intuitive understanding of an issue is difficult, if not impossible, to accurately express in words.
Itβs 2 extra Autistcookies points!
@autismsupsoc
Hmm..... They make captchas to screen out bots.... π€

@autismsupsoc OH MY GOD THO, WHY WOULD ANYONE DATE SOMEONE THEY DON'T KNOW YET?! WHY?! HOW DO YOU KNOW YOU EVEN LIKE THEM?!?!
I don't understand this. Like, I mean, you shouldn't NEED to be friends with them first to need to want to verify whether or not it's worth your time. How could it possibly be romantic if you don't know the person well enough? Uuuuuuuugh
@AmaBagins
Ok, I'll bite. I feel your original answer was correct for the question. Thus I am missing something. Can you share her intended question and what the real answer is? Otherwise I'll be thinking about this for 18 months. lol.
@okeleydokely @autismsupsoc ah! She was looking for actual tips, because nail care and nail polish is a hyperfocus of mine. So the real answer would be along the lines of
1. Wrap the tip
2. Donβt let your nails soak (so wear gloves when washing up, and paint AFTER a bath or shower)
3. Donβt use your nails to open things
4. Use nail oil daily
Etc
In her case, sheβs also a competitive swimmer so sheβs coming from a fail state in the first place lol
@hanscees @autismsupsoc I don't think I would have got it if I didn't watch Only Murders In The Building.
The (coded autistic) character often explains or expands on things during a conversation, as if adding a footnote to an essay. Usually the footnote is unnecessary (the info is already known) or extraneous (it's off topic & not relevant at the time).
It's played more as if he's assuming he's the most knowledgeable person in the room, a bit like mansplaining, but somehow more endearing.
@autismsupsoc this is my favorite.
ahahahahahahabahahahahshshshabahahahahahah
@autismsupsoc Redwood?

βββββββββββ Not too bad, how about you?
