Lots to do today, no time for the internet…
<stares slack-jawed at a 3Blue1Brown video for 45 minutes>

okok hear me out.
Escher's "Hand with Reflecting Sphere" is a self-portrait experiment, he said so himself. but I was looking at it from far away and... is that ANOTHER face in there?!
I cannot find a single mention of this anywhere online.
attached: the original, a blurred version, and my extremely professional annotation.
have I National Treasured myself or is this actually real? because cha boy Escher absolutely would do this.
Met verwondering gekeken naar een wiskundige 'artiest' die zo mooi laat zien hoe een andere wiskundige artiest geweldig mooie en knappe kunstwerken heeft achtergelaten.

Print Gallery has always been my favourite Escher work. This analysis is amazing! 3b1b has a knack for making things easy to understand, and I think this is probably his best video ever. Highly recommended!
