so over (their) birthday brunch with a friend yesterday, somehow the topic of Escher came up and I couldn't resist sharing with them one of my favorite works of his, one of the NON-tesselation/evolution/illusion ones, just good ol' fashioned Kai's Power Goo hand-drawn manipulation, I think this one was titled "Balcony"? Anyways, NOT TEN MINUTES LATER, we leave the cafe, start walking around, and I pass by some store window that was warped in such a way to cause the EXACT same illusion 🤣 probably a coincidence, but I do believe the cosmos has a sense of humor, and I appreciate when I'm now and then let in on the joke ^_^

Yay! I got my first set of #Escher gangers today, with the extra set of weapons! I've not played any Warhammer in about 37 years maybe? I've built a gang using Munda Manager, so I'm building to the specs of the actual gang I'm going to play. Got some extra paints coming tomorrow, some very colourful Vallejo Mechas, and the rulebooks are on their way from eBay.

I've given myself micropsia building the first three gangers!
