Other than Adult Swim and Nick at Nite, I think the most formative cable television block on me was when I was in my early teens and FX started doing a 2 hour block of back-to-back episodes of The X Files which my mom nor dad really watched so I didn't see much when it was on air.

scy (not @ 39C3)Was in the mood for starting yet another X-Files rewatch, which would've been the third time watching the whole series.
But then I remembered that there's something else that I've never watched from start to finish, only a few episode as a teenager. So this is what I've started instead.
It's not a perfect episode, and there were a couple of things that seemed to be out of alignment with Scully's character, but I _really_ liked "All Things". Lots of really cool shots, the symbolism, and the story itself were all quite well done. And the very end where Scully falls asleep in Mulder's arms was handled very delicately, with him simply covering her with a blanket and leaving the living room.
