#GNUTerryPratchett Got a shout out today on #Radio4's "You're Dead To Me"(A comedy history series I’d recommend) referencing the #DiscWorld book #InterestingTimes and its references to the #RoundWorld Terracotta Army.

PEOPLE'S WHOLE LIVES *DO* PASS IN FRONT OF THEIR EYES BEFORE THEY DIE. THE PROCESS IS CALLED 'LIVING'.

Well in my guise as a part-time fictional character & PageRunner IIRC I first appeared on #Discworld in Chapter 3, did you not read "Going Postal" ❓ 😜 if not I’d highly recommend it.
Of other people who seem to believe the Literature thing David Langford(The record holder for number of Hugo awards) of whom I once witnessed #GNUTerryPratchett calling him a B@st*rd‼️ ‼️ for a book he wrote despite this minor rivalry he wrote the introduction to "Terry Pratchett: Guilty Of Literature" so there is at least a quartet in the "Guilty Of Literature" camp & i may have met a few more in my travels.😜

So it seems #GNUTerryPratchett should have got the Nobel Hat-trick
Obviously the Boots essay should have got the echognomics(If i have my Trob translation right😜 ) one.
The quoted post below by Drew shows he should have had the physics one.
And of course some of us more fanatical fans have also accused him of literature on occasions.

Azhural raised his staff. "It's fifteen hundred miles to Ankh-Morpork," he said. "We've got three hundred and sixty-three elephants, fifty carts of forage, the monsoon's about to break and we're wearing... we're wearing... sort of things, like glass, only dark... dark glass things on our eyes..."

I just realised that I can sum up my philosophy on behaviour by paraphrasing Granny Weatherwax:
Don't treat people as things.
It's that simple.
I AM DEATH, NOT TAXES. *I* TURN UP ONLY ONCE.
Terry Pratchett, Feet of Clay
Perdita thought that not obeying rules was somehow *cool*. Agnes thought that rules like "Don't fall into this huge pit of spikes" were there for a purpose.
