@autismsupsoc A personal example: at an in person work thing, my team leader asked me how I keep my nail polish perfect. Not quite understanding at that moment what she was asking, I said “Oh, I only painted them last night!” I didn’t recognise her disappointment until days later. It’s been over 18 bloody months and I cannot figure out a way to actually tell her the real answer, so the whole conversation KEEPS going round my damn head and it’s driving me nuts.
