After a suspicious amount of complete silence, Warner Bros released a brand new "Hanna Barbara" style Cartoon Cartoon short yesterday - to youtube - with zero fanfare or promotion.

Cartoon Cartoons were a Hanna Barbara thing, and a big part of the branding for early era Cartoon Network. Cartoon Cartoons are what gave birth to Dexter and Powerpuff Girls and Billy and Mandy and countless others.

Clearly, some piece of the machine is still functioning, buried deep under the mounds of reality tv garbage that HBO / Discovery seems to favor.
