I nati morti sono aumentati del 140% rispetto al 2022. La carenza di rodenticidi aggrava il rischio di leptospirosi. Israele ha consentito l’ingresso di mille trappole per topi. 680.000 minori vivono in campi dove roditori e parassiti sono strutturali. Le tende che avrebbero dovuto essere riparo temporaneo sono residenza permanente: Israele ha bloccato la ricostruzione.
Il Board of Peace di Donald Trump ha ricevuto 100 milioni dagli Emirati per addestrare 27.000 agenti di polizia palestinesi in Egitto e Giordania. Lo riporta il Times of Israel, citando un funzionario americano. Le reclute — inclusi gli ex funzionari civili di Hamas — devono essere approvate dallo Shin Bet. Il governo tecnico palestinese istituito per sostituire Hamas non ha ancora ricevuto da Israele il permesso di entrare nell’enclave.

L’obiettivo di questa nuova funzione di Google è quella di personalizzare i risultati di ricerca,  dando priorità alle testate giornalistiche di fiducia. Quando si effettua una ricerca su Google, accanto alla sezione “Notizie principali” appare un’icona a forma di stella. Cliccando su questa icona sarà possibile gestire le proprie preferenze e aggiungere una o più testata alla lista. LA NOTIZIA: Rubio a Roma per salvare l’alleanza tra Usa e Italia, messa in crisi dagli attacchi di Trump

Prosegue il delicato viaggio in Italia del segretario di Stato americano Marco Rubio, impegnato nel tentativo di ricucire i rapporti tra Washington e Roma, messi in crisi dalle bordate di Donald Trump contro Papa Leone XIV, accusato di essere “morbido” con l’Iran, e contro la premier Giorgia Meloni, rea, secondo il tycoon, di non averlo sostenuto nel conflitto con Teheran.
Una giornata fitta di incontri, iniziata con un faccia a faccia di un’ora alla Farnesina tra Rubio e il ministro degli Esteri Antonio Tajani. Al termine del colloquio, definito dalle parti “positivo”, il ministro ha tenuto un punto stampa durante il quale ha spiegato di aver detto al segretario di Stato Usa di essere “convinto che l’Europa abbia bisogno dell’America, l’Italia abbia bisogno dell’America, ma anche gli Stati Uniti abbiano bisogno dell’Europa e dell’Italia. Queste sono le relazioni transatlantiche: l’unità dell’Occidente è fondamentale”.

Il ministro ha raccontato di aver riaffermato anche la disponibilità dell’Italia a essere presente “con la nostra Marina Militare, una volta raggiunto un cessate il fuoco stabile, per lo sminamento e la garanzia della libertà di navigazione” nello Stretto di Hormuz.
Nel corso dell’incontro, ha aggiunto ancora Tajani, sono stati affrontati anche altri dossier, tra cui il Venezuela, “la questione di Cuba” e quella “dell’Africa mediterranea sulle materie prime”.
Al termine del summit, Rubio si è recato a Palazzo Chigi per incontrare la premier Meloni.

Come raccontato dal presidente americano sul social Truth, “tre cacciatorpediniere americani hanno attraversato con successo lo Stretto di Hormuz sotto il fuoco nemico (…) senza subire danni, mentre gli attaccanti iraniani hanno riportato gravi perdite”.
“Sono state completamente distrutte numerose imbarcazioni di piccole dimensioni, che sostituiscono una flotta ormai decimata” e “i missili lanciati contro i nostri cacciatorpediniere sono stati facilmente abbattuti. Eppure il confronto non sembra esserci se, come afferma il Pd, siamo di fronte a una forzatura su un testo considerato irricevibile. “Procederemo dritti”, dice il vicepresidente del Consiglio, Matteo Salvini, sulla legge elettorale dopo il vertice di centrodestra (presenti anche Giorgia Meloni, Antonio Tajani e Maurizio Lupi) di Palazzo Chigi.

L’annuncio di Salvini significa “ignorare deliberatamente quanto sta emergendo in modo chiaro dalle audizioni in corso”. Durante le audizioni di ieri sarebbe stato “messo in discussione” dagli esperti “il premio di maggioranza previsto dal testo, giudicato da più parti abnorme e sproporzionato”.
“Pensavamo – prosegue Bonafè – che la lezione del referendum fosse stata chiara, ma evidentemente non è così. Si insiste invece su una forzatura, accelerando su un impianto che solleva critiche diffuse e motivate”. Il testo viene quindi etichettato come “irricevibile”, di fronte al rischio di regole scritte “a colpi di maggioranza, senza ascolto e senza confronto”. Per Riccardo Magi, segretario di +Europa, “la maggioranza si è infilata in un vicolo cieco e ora sta cercando il sostegno delle opposizioni, raccontandola come un’apertura al dialogo perché non sa come uscirne”. Il bel tempo dei giorni scorsi è ormai un ricordo. Al Centro-Nord il meteo ha subito una vera e propria giravolta, riportando piogge diffuse e un sensibile calo delle temperature. A causare questo stravolgimento è una vasta e intensa perturbazione di origine atlantica che, entrata dalla Francia meridionale, sta transitando sull’Italia spingendo masse d’aria calda e umida.
Come spiega Lorenzo Tedici, meteorologo responsabile media de iLMeteo.it, l’impatto di questa massa d’aria darà vita a un vero e proprio “dualismo atmosferico”, dividendo in due il Paese. Al Centro-Nord, dove la perturbazione insiste con forza, domina il maltempo, con precipitazioni abbondanti previste per almeno altri due giorni.

Le condizioni peggiori si registreranno soprattutto sulla Liguria di Levante, sull’Alta Toscana, sulla Lombardia settentrionale e sul Friuli. In queste aree, secondo i modelli previsionali, nelle prossime 48 ore potrebbero cadere oltre 150 millimetri di pioggia. Un quantitativo tutt’altro che trascurabile: si tratta infatti di una quantità superiore a quella che solitamente si registra nell’intero mese di maggio, con l’aggravante che verrà concentrata in appena due giorni.
Al Sud, e in particolare sul versante adriatico, lo scenario sarà diametralmente opposto. L’aria calda, sospinta dai venti provenienti dal Nord Africa, provocherà un progressivo aumento delle temperature, destinato a proseguire fino a domenica. In Sicilia, e soprattutto a Palermo, le temperature potrebbero raggiungere addirittura i 34 gradi.

The good weather of the past is now just a memory. In Central-Northern Italy, the weather has undergone a complete reversal, bringing widespread rain and a significant drop in temperatures. This upheaval is caused by a vast and intense perturbation of Atlantic origin that, having entered from southern France, is currently passing over Italy, pushing warm and humid air masses.

As explains Lorenzo Tedici, meteorologist responsible for media at iLMeteo.it, the impact of this air mass will give rise to a true “atmospheric duality,” dividing the country in two. In Central-Northern Italy, where the perturbation persists strongly, bad weather dominates, with heavy rainfall expected for at least another two days.

The worst conditions will be recorded especially in Liguria di Levante, the Upper Tuscany, Northern Lombardy and Friuli. In these areas, according to the forecasting models, more than 150 millimeters of rain could fall within the next 48 hours. An amount far from negligible: it is indeed a quantity greater than that usually recorded in the entire month of May, with the aggravating factor that will be concentrated in just two days.

In the South, and particularly along the Adriatic coast, the scenario will be diametrically opposed. Hot air, pushed by winds from North Africa, will cause a progressive increase in temperatures, destined to continue until Sunday. In Sicily, and especially in Palermo, temperatures could reach even 34 degrees.

Il maggiore generale Avi Bluth, comandante del Comando Centrale israeliano in Cisgiordania, ha dichiarato il 4 maggio a Haaretz che i soldati non sparano ai coloni ebrei che lanciano pietre perché farlo «ha profonde conseguenze sociologiche». Ai palestinesi si applicano norme di ingaggio allentate per creare un «effetto deterrente». Ha aggiunto: «Stiamo uccidendo come non uccidevamo dalla fine del 1967».
Ha parlato con un giornalista, non in sede riservata. Ha usato il 1967 come metro del fuoco attuale in Cisgiordania. Ha chiamato «monumenti zoppicanti nei villaggi» i palestinesi menomati in modo permanente: segnale deliberato del prezzo da pagare. Nessuna affermazione è stata smentita dall’esercito israeliano.
Amnesty International documenta che sparare a chi lancia pietre non è risposta proporzionata: il diritto internazionale ammette la forza letale solo davanti a minaccia imminente di morte o ferimento grave. Il Consiglio per i diritti umani ONU ha registrato dal 28 febbraio 2026 almeno 22 palestinesi uccisi in Cisgiordania da forze israeliane o coloni. Bluth non contesta: rivendica.
Il 9 aprile la Commissione d’inchiesta ONU sui Territori Palestinesi Occupati ha avvertito che Israele «continua a perpetrare atti genocidari a Gaza» e che la crisi cisgiordana è oscurata dall’attenzione internazionale. Il comandante ha scelto questo momento per esporre sulla stampa una dottrina di fuoco che discrimina per nazionalità.
Flotilla Sumud: il tribunale di Ashkelon ha prorogato al 5 maggio la detenzione di Thiago Avila e Saif Abukeshek. Il team legale ha depositato ricorso urgente alla Corte europea dei diritti dell’uomo contro l’Italia come Stato di bandiera. La flottiglia si prepara a ripartire da Creta.

Major General Avi Bluth, commander of the Central Command of the Israel Defense Forces in the West Bank, stated on May 4th to Haaretz that soldiers do not shoot Jewish settlers who throw stones because doing so “has profound sociological consequences.” Relaxed engagement rules are applied to Palestinians to create a “deterrent effect.” He added: “We are killing as we had not killed since the end of 1967.”

He spoke with a journalist, not in an off-the-record setting. He used 1967 as a benchmark for the current situation in the West Bank. He called the permanently disabled Palestinians “crippled monuments in the villages”: a deliberate signal of the price to be paid. No statement was denied by the Israeli military.

Amnesty International documents that shooting at those who throw stones is not a proportionate response: international law admits lethal force only in the face of an imminent threat of death or serious injury. The UN Human Rights Council has recorded at least 22 Palestinians killed in the West Bank by Israeli forces or settlers since February 28, 2026. Bluth does not contest: he claims it.

Almeno due morti e otto feriti. Questo è il bilancio, provvisorio, di quanto avvenuto nel centro di Lipsia, in Germania, dove un’auto si è lanciata contro la folla. Oltre alle due vittime, ci sono anche due persone rimaste gravemente ferite, come riporta la Reuters citando l’emittente locale Mdr. Il conducente dell’auto è stato arrestato.
Sul luogo sono subito intervenuto ambulanze, auto delle forze dell’ordine, mezzi dei vigili del fuoco e un elicottero. Negli ultimi tempi, infatti, il governo di Mosca ha installato sistemi di sorveglianza nelle residenze di Putin e nelle abitazioni dei suoi collaboratori più stretti, nell’ambito di nuove misure adottate in seguito a un’ondata di assassinii di alti ufficiali militari russi e ai timori di un possibile golpe.
