«La giornata di oggi segna un passaggio fondamentale perché con la presentazione dell’accordo di programma da parte di StMicroelectronics si entra nel vivo di un progetto industriale che il governo guidato dal presidente Renato Schifani ha scelto di sostenere con forza, individuandolo come investimento strategico per tutto il Mezzogiorno». Così l’assessore alle Attività produttive Edy Tamajo ha commentato l’incontro che si è tenuto nella sede istituzionale di via degli Emiri a Palermo relativo al piano di sviluppo del polo industriale di Catania.
«È una scelta chiara e coraggiosa – ha proseguito Tamajo – che concentra su Catania una delle più importanti operazioni industriali in Europa nel settore dei semiconduttori. Il governo regionale crede concretamente in questo percorso, accompagnandolo con strumenti, risorse e una visione di sviluppo di lungo periodo».
Nel corso dell’incontro sono stati illustrati i contenuti dell’accordo che prevede investimenti miliardari, crescita della capacità produttiva e un significativo impatto occupazionale con migliaia di nuovi posti di lavoro altamente qualificati.
«La Regione Siciliana ha approvato un finanziamento di 300 milioni di euro utilizzando risorse europee. Non si tratta solo di un investimento industriale – ha concluso l’assessore – ma della costruzione di un vero ecosistema dell’innovazione nel Mezzogiorno. L’amministrazione continuerà a lavorare in piena sinergia con l’azienda, le istituzioni locali e le parti sociali per garantire che questa opportunità si traduca in sviluppo reale, occupazione e competitività internazionale».

This is what Production Activities Councilor Edy Tamajo commented on the meeting held at the institutional headquarters on Via degli Emiri in Palermo regarding the development plan for the Catania industrial hub.

“It’s a clear and courageous choice – Tamajo continued – that concentrates one of the most important industrial operations in Europe in the semiconductor sector on Catania. The regional government truly believes in this path, supporting it with instruments, resources, and a long-term development vision.”

During the meeting, the contents of the agreement were presented, which includes billion-dollar investments, growth in production capacity, and a significant employment impact with thousands of new, highly qualified jobs.

“The Sicilian Region has approved a funding of 300 million euros using European resources. This is not just an industrial investment – the Councilor concluded – but the construction of a real innovation ecosystem in the South. The administration will continue to work in full synergy with the company, local institutions, and social partners to ensure that this opportunity translates into real development, employment, and international competitiveness.”

Il Tempo: A Pasqua e Pasquetta domina l'anticiclone subtropicale: le previsioni per le feste

Che tempo farà a Pasqua e Pasquetta? Ecco delle buone notizie nelle previsioni di 3bmeteo. A partire da venerdì infatti l'alta pressione tornerà a rafforzarsi sull'Italia, estendendosi progressivamente dall'Europa occidentale verso est e riportando condizioni più stabili. Nel fine settimana di Pasqua il campo anticiclonico subirà un ulteriore consolidamento, favorendo tempo in gran parte soleggiato su quasi tutta la Penisola. Le uniche eccezioni riguarderanno inizialmente l'estremo Sud, dove fino a sabato persisteranno gli ultimi effetti residui del ciclone Erminio, ormai in fase di esaurimento sui Balcani. Su bassa Calabria e Sicilia meridionale potranno verificarsi ancora deboli piogge, destinate comunque a esaurirsi nel corso della giornata, mentre altrove prevarranno cieli sereni e temperature in graduale aumento.

La giornata di Pasqua sarà caratterizzata da un anticiclone di matrice subtropicale ormai ben radicato su tutto il Paese, con condizioni diffusamente stabili e un clima decisamente mite. Le temperature saliranno ulteriormente, con valori che al Nord e tra le aree interne della Toscana e dell'alto Lazio potranno raggiungere i 22-24 gradi. Anche in montagna si registreranno valori insolitamente elevati per il periodo, con punte intorno ai 15-16 gradi a 1500 metri sulle Alpi. Il clima risulterà leggermente più fresco lungo il versante adriatico e al Sud, ma comunque gradevole e primaverile.

A Pasquetta il dominio dell'alta pressione continuerà a garantire tempo stabile su gran parte della Penisola, anche se non mancheranno alcune velature al Nord e su parte del Centro, legate al passaggio marginale di una perturbazione più a nord. Possibili anche addensamenti tra Liguria e alta Toscana per l'afflusso di correnti umide dal mare, con nubi in estensione a tratti anche lungo le coste del basso Tirreno. Le temperature saranno in ulteriore aumento, soprattutto al Nordovest dove si potranno toccare i 24-25 gradi, con valori di poco inferiori sul resto del Nord e sulle regioni tirreniche centro-settentrionali, oltre che sulla Sardegna.

In low Calabria and southern Sicily, weak showers may occur, but these will eventually dissipate during the day, while elsewhere, skies will be clear and temperatures will gradually rise.

Easter Day will be characterized by a subtropical-based high pressure firmly established throughout the country, with generally stable conditions and a decidedly mild climate. Temperatures will continue to rise, with values in the North and between the inland areas of Tuscany and the upper Lazio reaching 22-24 degrees Celsius. In the mountains, unusually high values will be recorded for the period, with peaks around 15-16 degrees Celsius at 1500 meters in the Alps. The climate will be slightly cooler along the Adriatic coast and in the South, but still pleasant and springtime.

On Easter Monday, the dominance of the high pressure will continue to guarantee stable weather across most of the peninsula, although some scattered clouds will occur in the North and in part of the Center, linked to the marginal passage of a disturbance further north. Possible also cloudiness between Liguria and the upper Tuscany due to the influx of humid currents from the sea, with clouds extending in patches along the coasts of the lower Tyrrhenian Sea. Temperatures will continue to rise, especially in the northwest, where values of 24-25 degrees Celsius may be reached, with slightly lower values in the rest of the North and in the central-northern Tyrrhenian regions, as well as in Sardinia.
