Il Tempo: "In Iran gli Usa abbandonino gli ultimatum". Lavrov avverte Trump
In Iran, the US are abandoning ultimatums. Lavrov warns Trump.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov had a telephone conversation with his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araghchi, in which he urged the United States to abandon the “language of ultimatums” to contribute to a peaceful resolution of the conflict. This is reported by a note from the Moscow diplomacy.
During the conversation, which took place “on Iranian initiative,” Lavrov “expressed the hope that the efforts undertaken by various countries to ease tensions around Iran are successful, in the interests of a long-term and sustainable normalization of the situation in the Middle East, which would be facilitated by the United States abandoning the language of ultimatums and the return of the situation to the negotiating track.” The ministers, according to the note from the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, “called for avoiding actions, even within the United Nations Security Council, that could jeopardize the remaining possibilities of progress in political and diplomatic efforts to resolve the crisis” and “emphasized the necessity of immediately stopping reckless and illegal attacks against civilian, industrial, and energy infrastructure, including the Bushehr nuclear plant, which is subject to the safeguards of the IAEA.” Lavrov and Araghchi finally “reaffirmed the unacceptable nature of creating threats to the life and health of the personnel [of the plant] and the risk of a radioactive disaster for the entire region.”

If #Orban remains in power, #Russia would be able to influence negotiations both with the #EU and #US, including negotiations about #Ukraine.
Thus, #Russian political strategists and #Russian special services, equipped with #Russian money, will do anything they can to provide victory for #Orban. Their actions are directed at changing the dynamics of the elections race - according to polls, opposition #Tisza party is ahead of the currently leading Fidesz party.
