This is why we need a Jean & Bob biopic, Armando Ianucci-style, with De Gaulle as the (ultimately vindicated) villain.

There were no cameras on #EuropeDay , he read the declaration to reporters and the radio but they forgot to hire any TV crew, so all the footage in this video is from a cosplay recreating the scene for the cameras later in summer once they realised what a huge fucking deal it was and that they had no record of it.

Yesterday, we opened the doors to our headquarters in Brussels. We hosted concerts, dancing classes, virtual tours, and games to celebrate #EuropeDay with you.
