Gli investigatori hanno iniziato a sentire i primi militanti della Global Sumud Flotilla rientrati questa notte da Israele via Istanbul. Tra le prime testimonianze raccolte quella del deputato del M5S, Dario Carotenuto, arrivato ieri mattina a insieme all’inviato del Fatto, Alessandro. Mantovani. Lunedì alla Procura di Roma ci sarà un vertice per la definizione del fascicolo. Si valuta la contestazione dei reati di tortura e violenza sessuale, oltre a quelli già iscritti di sequestro di persona e danneggiamento. Soprattutto, i pm vogliono valutare se ci sono gli estremi per iscrivere sul registro degli indagati il ministro israeliano Itamar Ben–Gvir, protagonista di un video diffuso dal suo stesso staff in cui deride e umilia i militanti inginocchiati e ammanettato nell’aula allestita nel di Ashdod. Il fascicolo potrebbe essere separato rispetto a quello già aperto dopo il sequestro al largo di Creta, tra il 29 e il 30 aprile, dei militanti Thiago Avila e Saif Abukashar.
