Agi: La biologa accoltellata parla al Tg1: "Mi fermerei di nuovo a soccorrere quel cane"

AGI - "Ho pensato di morire ma mi fermerei ancora a soccorrere quel cane": lo ha detto al Tg1 dal letto d'ospedale Maria Oggionni, la biologa accoltellata mentre era in auto nel lodigiano da un uomo ancora in fuga. La donna ha poi di ringraziato tutto il personale del servizio sanitario che l'ha salvata. "Non dobbiamo smettere di avere questo istinto di aiutare gli altri perché senno che mondo sarebbe …", ha commentato la biologa. La procura indaga per rapina aggravata e lesioni, per ora contro ignoti.
L'aggressione è avvenuta ieri, poco prima delle 19, mentre la 54enne rincasava. La donna, scrive il Cittadino di Lodi, lavora all'Asst locale e si sarebbe fermata con l'auto lungo la provinciale 27 per soccorrere un cane. Ai carabinieri, prima di essere portata in eliambulanza a Brescia, ha parlato di un uomo, comparso all'improvviso, che le avrebbe chiesto del denaro per poi colpire con delle coltellate all'addome e al braccio. L'aggressore sarebbe poi fuggito attraverso i campi. 
"Grande umanità"
"Tutto il personale del 118 dell'elisoccorso hanno una professionalità, una umanità, una empatia che non potrò mai dimenticare …sono qua a raccontare la mia storia oggi perché il servizio sanitario mi ha salvato. Il primo pensiero va a chi le ha salvato la vita", racconta la biologa dal letto di ospedale.
"Mi fermerei di nuovo"
La donna assicura che si fermerebbe di nuovo. "Ho visto un cane sul ciglio della strada …una persona sopra…ho abbassato il finestrino e gli ho chiesto ci sono problemi? Lui mi ha risposto cane cane….questo ragazzo mi è venuto contro e mi ha detto dammi i soldi…ho visto il coltello e ho alzato il braccio per difendermi…"

The stabbed biologist speaks to Tg1: "I would stop again to help that dog."

“I thought I was going to die, but I would still stop to help that dog,” Maria Oggionni, the biologist who was stabbed while in a car in the Lodigiano area by a man still on the run, said to Tg1 from her hospital bed. The woman then thanked all the healthcare personnel who saved her. “We must not stop having this instinct to help others because otherwise what kind of world would it be…” the biologist commented. The prosecutor’s office is investigating for aggravated robbery and injuries, currently against unknown individuals.

The attack occurred yesterday, shortly before 7 p.m., while the 54-year-old was returning home. The woman, according to Cittadino di Lodi, works at the local Asst (Local Hospital Group) and stopped her car on provincial road 27 to help a dog. To the Carabinieri (Italian police), before being transported by helicopter to Brescia, she spoke of a man who appeared suddenly, asked her for money, and then attacked her with multiple stab wounds to her abdomen and arm. The attacker then fled through the fields.

“Great humanity”

“All the 118 helicopter rescue personnel have a professionalism, humanity, and empathy that I will never forget… I’m here to tell my story today because the healthcare service saved my life. The first thought goes to those who saved my life,” the biologist recounts from her hospital bed.

“I would stop again.”

The woman assures that she would stop again. “I saw a dog by the side of the road… a person on top of it… I lowered the window and asked if there were any problems? He responded ‘dog, dog’… that boy came at me and said give me the money… I saw the knife and raised my arm to defend myself…”

Il Tempo: 5x1000, record di donazioni alla Fondazione Piemontese per la ricerca sul cancro

Aumentano i contribuenti che scelgono di donare il 5x1000 alla Fondazione Piemontese per la Ricerca sul Cancro. Secondo i dati pubblicati dalla Agenzia delle entrate, e relativi al 2025, l'ente ha raccolto 286.934 firme, il 4% in più rispetto all'anno precedente, per un totale di oltre 14,3 milioni di euro, il 18% in più del 2024. La Fondazione Piemonte per la Ricerca sul Cancro è seconda nella top ten dei destinatari del 5X1000, unico ente della regione nei primi posti di questa speciale classifica. A guidarla è la Fondazione Airc, seguita appunto dall'istituto di Candiolo e, al terzo posto, da Emergency.
"Questi numeri dimostrano l'amore per Candiolo e la fiducia nella ricerca oncologica. Nell'anno in cui la Fondazione Piemontese per la Ricerca sul Cancro festeggia i suoi quarant'anni, il sostegno attraverso il 5ž1000 diventa sempre più decisivo per realizzare nuovi progetti di ricerca e di cura", commenta Gianmarco Sala, che della Fondazione Piemontese per la Ricerca sul Cancro è il direttore generale. "Ogni firma è una scelta consapevole - aggiunge Sala -: scegliere la scienza, scegliere la speranza. Siamo profondamente grati a chi ha deciso di firmare per Candiolo. Queste risorse sono infatti decisive per portare avanti progetti che cambiano la vita dei pazienti".

More taxpayers are choosing to donate the 5x1000 to the Fondazione Piemontese per la Ricerca sul Cancro (Piemontese Foundation for Cancer Research). According to data published by the Agenzia delle Entrate (Italian Revenue Agency), relating to 2025, the entity has collected 286,934 signatures, 4% more than the previous year, for a total of over 14.3 million euros, 18% more than in 2024. The Fondazione Piemonte per la Ricerca sul Cancro (Piemonte Foundation for Cancer Research) is second in the top ten recipients of the 5X1000, the only entity in the region in the first places of this special ranking. AIRC Foundation leads the list, followed by the Institute of Candiolo, and third by Emergency.

“These numbers demonstrate the love for Candiolo and the trust in oncological research. In the year that the Fondazione Piemontese per la Ricerca sul Cancro celebrates its 40th anniversary, support through the 5x1000 becomes increasingly decisive for realizing new research and care projects,” comments Gianmarco Sala, the general director of the Fondazione Piemontese per la Ricerca sul Cancro. “Each signature is a conscious choice – adds Sala –: choosing science, choosing hope. Agi: Abbandona i figli di 3 e 5 anni per strada in Portogallo e scappa col fidanzato

AGI - La storia ha commosso la Francia: due bimbi di tre e cinque anni sono stati trovati martedì sera mentre camminavano soli e in lacrime sul ciglio di una strada nel sud del Portogallo. Immediatamente è partita la ricerca della madre, francese, che li aveva abbandonati. E oggi la donna è stata rintracciata e fermata a Fatima, oltre 120 chilometri da Lisbona.
La gendarmeria portoghese ha annunciato che la madre, 41 anni, è stata fermata insieme a un uomo di 55 la cui nazionalità non è stata specificata in un primo momento.
Secondo i media portoghesi, la donna e il suo compagno hanno bendato i bambini facendo finta di voler giocare. Hanno lasciato loro zaini contenenti cibo e acqua, ma non documenti, e se ne sono andati. Il procuratore francese Jean Richert ha riferito che la famiglia della donna, di Colmar nell'Alto Reno, ne aveva denunciato la scomparsa l'11 maggio.
Il salvataggio
La stampa lusitana ha raccontato che a trovare i fratellini nei pressi di Comporta è stato un automobilista di nome Alexandre Quintas. Li ha fatti salire in macchina e li ha portati nella pasticceria gestita dalla sua famiglia, poi ha avvertito le autorità. "Gli abbiamo chiesto se gli piaceva il gelato e abbiamo dato loro qualcosa da mangiare e dei giocattoli per tenerli occupati", ha raccontato Quintas ai giornali locali.
Un medico del posto che parla francese è stato il primo a farsi raccontare cos'era successo. La più grandicella ha spiegato che erano arrivati in auto, erano stati bendati con la scusa di cercare un giocattolo e quando si sono tolti il fazzoletto dagli occhi la madre e la macchina erano sparite.La donna rischia ora accuse di abbandono di minore e violenza domestica.

The Portuguese gendarmerie announced that the mother, 41 years old, was stopped along with a man of 55 whose nationality was not initially specified.

The Rescue

Portuguese print media reported that a motorist named Alexandre Quintas found the two brothers near Comporta. He got them into his car and took them to his family's bakery, then alerted the authorities. "We asked them if they liked ice cream and gave them something to eat and toys to keep them occupied," Quintas told local newspapers.

A local doctor who speaks French was the first to be told what had happened. The older one explained that they had arrived in a car, were blinded with the excuse of looking for a toy, and when they removed the handkerchief from their eyes, the mother and the car disappeared. The woman now faces charges of child abandonment and domestic violence.
