#disabled #disability. #ableism is real, not a joke.

I was diagnosed with #ADHD this year. Can’t believe it took so long. Self diagnosing is valid. US #healthcare sucks, I’m not a fan.

I was also recently diagnosed with #EDS. I’m trying to learn how to not overextend my joints. Apparently, your shoulders aren’t supposed to dislocate when you sleep. Fascinating.

Disability is not a bad word. #Accessibility matters. Glad to see mastodon has image ID feature!

#gardening. I love to grow lettuce indoors during #alaska winter. Right now, I'm growing eggplant! During the summer I’m p all about squash, beans, cabbage, broccoli, and carrots. I’m still trying to develop my green thumb in the short growing season.

I’ve made it this far and failed to mention #birding. My favorite bird hands down is the #Puffin. I wish to see the birds of paradise before I die. I miss cardinals from when I lived on the #eastcoast.

@Nicolezeg oh how I miss those mountains. Did you go out of Whittier? I used to go out to near Esther Island for salmon fishing all the time. Can’t wait to go back.

@plgonzalez86 they are glorious mountains, indeed! Shots 1, 2, & 4 were near the Tatitlek Narrows. Shot 3 was Eklutna. Definitely a fantastic place
