MarContinuing with our Transit Adventures, I took the kids on the recently opened Line 2 of the Link light rail. Pictured below: the floating bridge and a very photogenic Line 2 train in Lynnwood station.
This was the Kid's idea, who remained very excited about it in spite of the long and crowded ride (there was a Sounder's game). Crossing the floating bridge was not that exciting, but seeing all the places that have just opened up for us.. that was great!

Animal portraits have become a favorite. This gull was hanging out on a picnic table at a nearby state park and was very patient. The droplets of water on its face remind me of how well these birds are adapted to surviving the harshest environments.
