If the #Eagles are going to trade WR A.J. Brown, it may take a first-and second-round pick to make it happen:

As the headline for this story suggests, and as I’ve been consistent in saying for weeks, I still believe the prospects of the #Eagles trading A.J. Brown are around 50-50.
A few weeks ago, I was leaning slightly less than 50% that he leaves. After Howie Roseman and Nick Sirianni did their pre-NFL combine media tour, I started leaning slightly more than 50%. Now I’m back to slightly less.
After I filed my story yesterday, I had a high-ranking member of one team that would be interested in Brown express exasperation with the #Eagles’ asking price (believed to be a first and second round draft pick) and whether it even suggested a willingness to trade. He put a third round pick value on Brown, but my guess is that was a little bit of posturing, just as Howie Roseman’s initial asking price is probably the same.
But the difference suggests how far apart the Eagles are from potential offers at this stage. We’re still early in the process, even if the start of the league year could build momentum toward a decision by the Eagles, and move Roseman off his initial asking price. But he’s a master at grinding out close to what he wants, even if potential partners have become more cautious in doing deals with someone who has “won” so many.
Nevertheless, Roseman’s public messaging has been consistent and does represent his messaging to teams — that he needs to be convinced it’s within the Eagles’ best interest to move on from a great player.

Jalen Carter would be in the first level for DTs and would get $27.127M if the #Eagles exercise his 5th year option.

The pen drop is when his soul leaves his body. Kenyon Saqdiq’s interviews here aren’t good news for @AnthonyLGargano@twitter.com and #Eagles fans hoping he’ll last until 23. Crushing it.
INDIANAPOLIS — The #Eagles are assessing A.J. Brown’s trade market. Just don’t expect Howie Roseman to give him away.
