Day 13: A major storm was brewing nearby, moving closer as I rode. I managed to finish my ride before the storm struck.

Day 12: The weather was drastically different, it got up to at least 78 ºF today. Still very windy, but my twilight ride was enjoyable and I went a fair distance. I had encounters with five separate groups of deer, but it was too dark to get photos. I also saw a bat flying overhead, which was quite a surprise. We don't have mosquitoes in the area so I don't think there is a lot of food for bats. They are a very rare sight.
Went on a solo spin today towards the Boggeragh Mountains. My club didn't go on a ride today out of respect for 3 club members who got into a serious accident during a trip to Spain (which I was planning to participate in until a work trip got in the way).
I decided to go out on my own and wear the club gear as a way to pay tribute to the club members. I was thinking about them during the ride, and wishing they were with me
