I have a cart full of #food to eat but lack the $350 to buy it, I have a cart full of personal care, hygiene, and household supplies but lack the $200 to buy it, I have a cart full of clothing that I need but lack the $400 to buy it, not to mention the rest of what I need to deal with, it is sad really, that in one of the wealthiest times in human history and in one of the wealthiest nations on earth, that anyone would be struggling with #poverty and #disability, and do so with so very little support at all, it really is sad that I have to beg for help that I most certainly never actually receive in any capacity to actually resolve the gapping growing hole of needs;

Yet another sleepless night of pain deprived the old man of the rest he need, with rigor mortis setting in he drags his breathless lifeless corpse out of a sunken bed of jagged shards of thorny steel, unable to yet see as the classical music plays he scrapes across the floor to prepare his coffee, as his hands tremble and shake he pours in the water and counts the scoops of grind, fumbling he manages to plug in the percolator and as the coffee begins to perc, he shuffles off to the toilet where his bowels bellow out in a hungerous rage, in the mirror the reflection of a man expired by time his hair and beard greasy and disheveled, he slowly disrobes and enters the shower, the piping hot water offers no comfort to his decrepit body, he brushes his teeth as the water pours over his head, then he struggles to wash his hair and beard, his hands fail to maintain grasp of the soap as he scrubs his body, the experience is exhausting, he rinses off and shuts the water off, he dries himself off and slowly exits the shower only to embark on the arduous task of brushing out his hair and beard, robbed of what little strength he started with he stumbles back to his bed, he struggles to pull on a clean t shirt, undergarments, socks and pants, he slips on his shoes and pours a cup of coffee and gently packs his pipe with scraps of tobacco, he slips out the door, the morning is dark and gray the air is mild and moist, as the world begins to wake not a soul seems to notice nor care for the hellish plight of life the old man is forced to yet again endure;
