No wonder political parties of the white patriarchal supremacist right have been systematically defunding the institutions & disciplines that teach these skills.

Data and information are never neutral. Seeing Like a State should be required reading for all statisticians, data scientists, and 'if you can't measure it, you can't manage it' cohorts.
