If it's #legal to #kidnap, #traffic, #torture, #rape, and #murder black #people, and if the #police actively assist in that, and if #anyone who tries to rescue the #victims goes to #jail, and if it keeps happening because the #violence of the #protesters bothers more people than the violence that they're #protesting against, then no decent #person is going to care how "great" it is otherwise. That's not something that can be overlooked.

Also, that level of violence never happens by accident. Slavery was not a fluke. Slavery happened because it was #profitable. The #system was working exactly as intended, and it still is."
