In one of the most blatant pieces of malevolent corporate greed I've seen, I'm greeted by headlines today that around 2500 seafarers are still stranded in the Persian Gulf, simply because the shipping companies they work for don't want to spend any extra to fly them back to their homes.

Makes even more absurd of his claim that exports can be ramped up, beyond a tiny fraction, to cover the loss of supply other nations are feeling. Also shows, when shown corrupt gov is creating the most uncertain market conditions in decades, fossil fuel companies will respond by staying put, and just collecting on higher margins for lower volumes, to the highest bidders, meaning higher prices are here to stay in the USA as well.
