Die vorgezogene Wahl in Malta - und das Kalkül des Premiers
In the US we have 110V outlets in the bathroom, and my wife and I have our toothbrushes and my electric razor cleaner plugged in. Looking at UK models of these same things, they too run off mains power.
Do folks in Europe charge/powe devices like this somewhere other than the bathroom? Do they buy bathroom plugs for all of their devices?
How does this work?
Bonus points for explaining where women plug in their hair dryer.

Ireland-NATO? “Membership is not on the agenda but yes to cooperation in defense matters.”
NATO - Ireland’s accession to NATO is not on the agenda of the government. This was reiterated by Ireland’s Minister for European Affairs, Thomas Byrne, speaking at an event organized by the Bruegel think tank in Brussels ahead of Ireland’s rotating EU presidency, which begins on July 1st.
“I believe we can do a lot even without joining NATO. I believe the treaties exist for this reason: the treaties recognize that we will never be members of NATO, but we still support cooperation with NATO,” the minister explained.
NATO Standards and Irish Position
“We certainly want our military to be compliant with NATO standards, but we don’t need to be part of it, and we don’t want to be part of it. We have chosen not to participate in NATO’s common defense, as have Austria, Cyprus and Malta, for various reasons. And also Sweden and Finland, in the past, before they joined, for different reasons,” Byrne continued.
Cooperation and European Agreements
“We believe we can do a lot by staying outside the Alliance, and we are open to cooperation on defense matters. We have signed a memorandum of understanding with Italy and with France, and certainly we will support and work closely with the member states as they seek to define and build their own plans within the European Union, in close coordination and collaboration,” he concluded.
