Had our first local corn-on-the-cob of the year. We're a bit slow getting there, but finally picked some up as we were driving around rural highways with lots of it in the fields.

It's been a dry summer, but I think getting some picked this morning two days after some rain was probably good timing - as it was very tasty.

The all-yellow variety was very sweet. The 'Peaches and Cream' variety was fine, but a bit more muted flavour. Glad we got both to try them!
