🇫🇷 Lorsque je vais à Bruxelles, j'en profite toujours pour passer dans l'immense librairie de seconde main "Pêle-Mêle" où l'on trouve une quantité astronomique de livres, romans, vinyles, BD... à des prix raisonnable souvent. Aujourd'hui, un seul livre mais qui a ravivé des souvenirs de mon premier voyage à London en 1994 et d'un autre dans la région de Brighton et où j'avais eu l'occasion d'emprunter les mythiques automotrices électriques "Slam Doors".

Le bouquin, un bel ouvrage à couverture cartonnée est un recueil de photos des différentes rames ayant circulé sur le Southern Railway dont l'axe principal est la ligne qui relie London à Brighton. Et pour 8 EUR, c'est un plaisir abordable.

Et puisque le jeudi, c'est le jour du #throwbackthursday et du #doorsday la combinaison est donc idéale!

🇬🇧 When I go to Brussels, I often give a visit at the huge second-hand bookstore "Pêle-Mêle" where you can find an astronomical quantity of books, novels, vinyls, comics... often at reasonable prices. Today, only one book but which brought back memories of my first trip to London in 1994 and another in the Brighton area, where I had the opportunity to get a ride with the legendary "Slam Doors"-EMUs.

The hardcover book is a collection of photos of the different types that ran on the Southern, which main line is the London to Brighton route. And for 8 EUR, it's an affordable pleasure.

And as Thursday is the day of #throwbackthursday and #doorsday the combination is therefore ideal!
