2023 open access systematic review: Heat impacts and asthma.

"...asthma attacks were associated with heat (RR = 1.0638) and heatwaves (RR = 1.1956)."

In every day language that means, asthma attacks were ~20% higher during heatwaves (defined various ways in the original studies).
