Something I'd like as an @Mastodon feature is the ability to turn on notifications for specific posts.

I often see question-based posts where I'm interested in the replies, but where there are currently none/very few. I therefore bookmark them and periodically scroll through my bookmarks to check for (new) replies.

A much neater solution would be the ability to turn on notifications for replies to those posts in the same way you can for people you follow.

Does anything like this exist already?

I write, I argue, I organize. Antifascism isn't a hobby, it's a baseline. My blog runs mostly in German with a voice somewhere between Wut und Kraft, because I refuse to be polite about people who want us gone.

I founded and run lsbt.me, a #Mastodon instance for #queer and #LGBTQ folks and their allies. A space to exist loudly, safely, and without apology.

I also build #FediSuite, an open-source (GPL-3.0) management platform for the entire Fediverse. Multi-account, smart composer, scheduling, thread-splitting, analytics, accessibility, plugin system. Supports #Mastodon, #Pixelfed, #Vernissage, #Misskey, #PeerTube and more.

Früher war „digitale Souveränität“ so ein Begriff, bei dem sofort jemand „Workshop“ gesagt und eine PowerPoint geöffnet hat. Heute sitzt halb Europa vor US‑Clouds, KI‑Modellen und geopolitischem Dauerrauschen und merkt: Ach. Das war gar kein Nerdthema. ☕️

Interessant, wie schnell aus „bequem“ plötzlich „strategisch kritisch“ wird.
