Saw a new physio, he agrees that just concentrating on symptoms is a sensible way forward, given I'm 7 years into "shoulder shrug" as a diagnosis!

My stress is so bad lately that it's causing my chronic pain to flare, which caused me to miss my weekly appointment with my pain specialist.

And now I'm in more pain because I'm stressed because I anticipate the coming week of more stress and more pain.

Make it make sense.
