Has anybody had radio frequency ablation for back pain? My wife's pain management doctor did this for the first time today. She normally gets an epidural injection and then two later, lumbar joints injections. This was something else to try.

Well, we're in the ER because she can barely feel her legs and they aren't working right. She fell in the garage. We had to call EMS.

"Can't feel legs" was not listed on the discharge instructions. Has anyone else had something like this happen? It's an "ablation" so I pray to the Great Mystery that they didn't "ablate" the wrong nerve because that would take months to heal.

Another day or so of disconnect, due to energy lows and #Fibromyalgia pain high.

I managed to do a walk, and start reading the second Dragon book with NJ.

Oh, and I'm still alive.

I hate how much #chronicpain has affected either what I can do, or taken the desire to do things away, or sapped my energy so I'm just not up to doing them.

It's beginning to feel to restricting now. I have to exercise for health and weight control, so can't channel that energy elsewhere either...
