Utterly forgot to post last week's #InkWell adventures

We looked at more ephemeral items, newspapers, magazines and zones

Then we did some collaging, mine was based around moving to Wales and singing at the Eisteddfod

Another Friday in the archives with #Inkwell

This week it was artist books, unusual bindings, and pondering what IS a book

Feel in love with this handmade, leather bound book with Anglo Saxon/English writing and paintings in. And this music/words/collage press printed piece

Wandered to the Amgueddfa afterwards to just breathe in the Gwen John exhibit, and sat listening to the people and building whilst appreciating the lovely light from this window

Fun journeys in HSD, did 'something' to my thumb joint overnight, the upside is that taping it up is really easy to do myself, and the sensory feeling of being held tightly is very comforting!

Also, no knitting for me this week 😞

Let there be light!

Are they battery operated, yes. Are they so cheap the remotes affect both, yes. Are they held up with blu tac abs command strips, yes!

BUT! They're up, and you can't really tell how much it a bodge job they are unless you're really really close 😁

Apparently the only reason Davina wasn't a velcro cat was cause Emo demanded more loudly

This is the 2nd hour today she's insisted on being in my arms

This afternoon we took Emo in to the emergency vet, but sadly the blood clot we knew would eventually come had arrived.

We are obviously devastated, he was born on my foot, was loving, cuddly, demanding and such a personality. But we also know he had the best life a cat could wish for and was greatly loved by many more than just us.

We're taking some time offline for a bit, cuddling Davina and generally allowing ourselves to be sad

There's nothing quite like a deadline for getting me to actually make a mass of data into something more readable...

Aka somehow I need to make the family tree info easier to convey to the rest of the family... Activate the library degree!!

She isn't impressed with my lackadaisical plans of staying in bed until the last minute and so yelled at me until I got up and attended to her this morning 😂
