Why does microsoft exist!?!? Just supported a patron that was trying to figure out without opening an email who it was from. Instead of showing the email... Outlook does this thing where it marks it as "unverified" with zero explanation. Hovering over does not show the email the only way to see the email is the open the email or look at the email source... so freaken bad!

Dass fundamentale #Treiber bis heute nicht in #Windows integriert sind und wie in den 1990ern #Treiber händlisch reingeprügelt werden müssen ist auch ein Unding dass es so glücklicherweise nie unter #Linux gab.

Meine Beispiele bei Windows sind noch nichtmals weirde Edge-Cases sondern fundamentale Funktionen…

  • #Linux mag zwar in seltensten Fällen auf Konsole crashen, aber es kann von dort wenigstens repariert oder sogar benutzt werden!

Really? I heard #Microsoft does this to be able to run its #AI on people's #computers. The idea is, make sure people have the necessary resources to be #tracked.

There was a great #interview/#discussion about privacy, including this #topic. It was between a #woman and a #man, done #remotely. The man was the one who taught the woman about the importance of #privacy, and in that interview they were discussing various topics in general. IIRC, the man's name was #Megan or so. 🤔 If anyone knows the #video and has the #link, please #share it, I need it.
