Immer wieder höre ich: »Ich bin zu iOS gewechselt, um Google zu entkommen.« Das klingt nach einer guten Idee - ist es aber nur bedingt. Denn in zahllosen Apps steckt Google-Infrastruktur: Firebase, Google Analytics, Google Fonts, reCAPTCHA. Das Betriebssystem wechseln reicht also nicht, wenn die Apps weiterhin munter Daten an Google-Server schicken. Wer glaubt, mit einem iPhone Google vollständig zu entkommen, irrt sich leider.
