Una mica presa fàcil però: #Ubuntu (o Canonical?) és bastant un tumor en el cos de #Linux.
No el recomano mai a la gent nova, i jo només el faig servir a la feina perquè... Feina. Hi ha distribucions ben bones i no tant menjades pel capitalisme.
En aquest cas ho dic per la acumulació de maniobres amb els maleïts #snap i amb la reescriptura de les aplicacions de sistema amb llicències que en permetrien tancar el codi...

#Ubuntu and #LinuxMint work perfectly out of the box. Even the touch screen! But Ubuntu bricks completely after a couple of days of connecting and disconnecting an external display. And Mint crashes on every display manipulation, like changing the resolution or connecting an external one.
I’ll surely jump into this hole of troubleshooting. There’s no way I’ll bring back #Windows on it.

Hey #Ubuntu people, I've got a UI question.
When I mouse over to a small UI element (e.g. the "Add content warning" button in the Mastodon post composing form) and then move my hand minutely to left-click it, the cursor often jiggles off of the target. This also happens if I remove my hand from the trackpad, mouse or trackball preparatory to clicking.
Is there a UI setting or add-on that addresses this? It's driven me crazy for years and I can't be the only one.
