Angelo Santirocco, il “pianista rosa”, ha trovato sul proprio cammino una persona disposta ad aiutarlo. Dopo il furto dell’attrezzatura subìto nelle scorse ore, si è fatta avanti una persona che vuole rimanere anonima. “Voglio aiutare quel giovane pianista, chi ha passione per la musica va incoraggiato. Sempre”, ha dichiarato, come riporta il Messaggero.
Che cosa era successo
Sui social l’artista aveva raccontato: “Ero andato con la mia strumentazione a suonare presso Villa Pamphili e dopo aver parcheggiato il mio furgoncino mi sono allontanato 5/10 minuti per andare a fare il mio solito sopralluogo alla piazza come faccio sempre anche al Parco degli Acquedotti, ma questa volta appena tornato a prendere la mia strumentazione ho trovato la portiera laterale forzata e gran parte della strumentazione rubata”. La tastiera rosa, invece, non era stata toccata.
La donatrice anonima
Dopo quell’episodio era stata aperta una raccolta fondi dallo stesso Santirocco, che mai si sarebbe immaginato l’intervento provvidenziale di un’altra persona, che gli ha fatto sapere come gli avrebbe donato quel che serviva per ricomprare tutto: “Voglio restare anonima però – ha chiesto – l’aiuto si dà in silenzio: mi ha rattristito molto la notizia del furto a un giovane così appassionato. Deve continuare a suonare“. La benefattrice sarebbe la compagna di una vita di un grande musicista: “Ma davvero? Non posso crederci… Sono felicissimo! È un onore per me entrare in contatto con la signora…”, le parole di Angelo, una volta saputa l’identità della donna. La brutta avventura che gli è capitata, comunque, non gli ha tolto la voglia di continuare ad esibirsi: “Tornerò presto a suonare per il mio pubblico – ha assicurato – sempre, rigorosamente, in parchi e su strada”.

What had happened:
On social media, the artist had recounted: “I had gone with my equipment to play at Villa Pamphili and after parking my van, I walked away for 5/10 minutes to do my usual inspection of the square as I always do at the Parco degli Acquedotti, but this time when I returned to get my equipment, I found the side door forced and much of the equipment stolen.” The pink keyboard, however, had not been touched.
The anonymous donor:
After that incident, Santirocco had launched a fundraising campaign, never imagining the providential intervention of another person, who informed him that they would donate everything he needed to repurchase it all: “I want to remain anonymous though – he asked – help is given in silence: the news of the theft of such a passionate young man saddened me greatly. He must continue to play.” The benefactor would be the lifetime partner of a famous musician: “Really? I can’t believe it… I’m overjoyed! It’s an honor for me to get in touch with the lady…” Angelo’s words, once the woman’s identity was known. However, the unfortunate adventure that had befallen him had not taken away his desire to continue performing: “I will return soon to play for my audience – he assured – always, strictly, in parks and on the street.”
