$4.5 million in new development projects just launched in Panjshir, covering 126 villages across Bazarak, Anaba, Rukha and Hesa-e-Awal.the projects included retaining walls. Rural roads. potable water networks. Irrigation canals.
Funded by Dacaar under CASA-1000, plus a cash-for-work program for vulnerable families. 2-year initiative with UNICEF.

A clean water supply network, costing three million Afghanis, was inaugurated and put into operation in the Daman district of Kandahar.
Rahmatullah Shaker, spokesman for the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, says that with the financial support of UNICEF, a clean water supply network was built in the Gher village of the Daman district of the province, at a cost of three million two hundred thousand Afghanis.
