I have this massive folder of ideas for this Daily Inspiration series; when you've been doing it for nine years, you've always got ideas running through your head!
I was scanning through the folder yesterday, looking for ideas for today, and I came across this one.
I can't remember the context of what I was thinking or encountering when I write it down; it probably had to do with some event I was preparing for, or perhaps an article I came across in my research.
Suffice it to say, when you think about what it says, it's true!
And I must say, maybe it describes what I think about the state of global affairs so far in 2026: we've got small minds chasing big ideas without thinking through the big consequences.

- I certainly am not gonna dive into that whole story, but granted there is a pipeline that supports the radicalization of sexual offenders grooming each other from merely consuming abuse material to facilitating and recording abuse themselves.
The unwillingness of police forces to search seized forums for links and delete #CSAM from hosters is baffling to me to this day, because no bona-fide hoster wants pedos abusing their services!
- That being said #Shitter / "#xAI" / #Grok & #ClosedAI nee #OpenAI should not get to "#OCILLA their way out" on this one, because it's one thing when they unknowingly get abused (like a postal service being abused to send weapons illegally) vs. knowingly creating harmful content and believing ToS should allow them to shield themselves from #accountability & #consequences.
