We’ll soon get a chance to see whether, frankly, our last hope, evil corp #Google, can still distinguish content created by #AI from Human one 🤖
Here’s how I would rank the detection difficulty:
1️⃣ Text
2️⃣ Code
3️⃣ Images
4️⃣ Gifs
5️⃣ Videos
If they already fail at level 5, we have a SERIOUS problem:

And how many GW of electricity and millions of litres of cooling water did this pointless exercise consume?
PSA: Rsync unfortunately is completely infected by AI slop. The last "good" commit is this one: https://github.com/RsyncProject/rsync/commit/236417cf354220669014317b1ba818b9d931afbb
All commits afterwards are co-authored by Claude.
Not sure what the best alternative is right now, but might make sense to pin rsync to a version before that for now.
Our feeds are drowning in AI slop, and Big Tech is driving the engine. It’s not just digital clutter—it is actively distorting human memory and poisoning future AI models. Here is how the "pollution of reality" works: [Link] #AISlop #TechNews #Meta #X
https://gadgetshowtech.com/the-big-tech-ai-slop-engine-how-meta-and-x-are-polluting-reality/

The internet used to be a mirror of human experience—a place to connect with friends, share genuine creativity, and document real life. By turning the digital town square over to automated slop engines, Meta and X are making the internet fundamentally unusable. It is time to stop scrolling past the slop on autopilot. If we don't start demanding human authenticity from our platforms, we will wake up to a world where reality itself has been permanently diluted.
