Because the moment games refused to fit on a single BDXL Quad Layer (128GB) disc, they should've been forced to stop and learn to optimize their shite!

• The original Crysis fit on a single 4,7 GB DVD and even got a port to 7th gen Consoles down the line.

The shift to Subscription Licensing and SaaS is done in the same vein:
