Sometimes I wonder if the game composers who worked on PC-98 porn games went so hard because the games were porn and therefore "didn't matter", so they decided to go all out instead of phone it in OR if they saw porn games as a genuine genre of game and so they put their all into it.

It makes me think about the differences in porn games now because like I can't think of a single modern porn game that I can praise for its artistic/musical qualities. Maybe I'm just not looking? I dunno.

Game dev tip. Games are long-term commitments.

If you're going to team up, make sure everyone on the team is in it for the long run, has time to work on it, and has a history of finishing creative projects. That includes you too.

My college friends tried 3 times to make a game together, but in the end, I'm the only person that ever stuck to it.

Now I'm part of Skypyre, and have the game dev friends that make it fun and easy to make things together.
