Next step is always to make it #audioreactive somehow. Simple overall volume threshold triggers clone capture (with lower threshold for hysteresis as can only afford 10x clones worth of particles at a time).

Testing some different combinations of clone particle looks with depth visuals. The red on black with white or ghostly visuals works quite well, and I always love hue shifting as then you get lots of colours constantly evolving.

In Chase Mode, every time you place a shape, a moving target travels to a new random spot on the grid. If the target is sitting in a row, column, or sub-grid that you clear with your move, you catch it.
