I suppose the #Nvidia #Jetson form factor is a kind of standard interface for #systemOnModule #SBC

There's already a #RiscV #SoM called the #MilkV Jupiter that's supposedly compatible with a #NvidiaJetson #carrierBoard, and now the #radxaN150 with an #x86 chip.

I'd be interested in seeing someone try various Jetson boards with the available modules.

Product Introduction: AIM7 | ArmSoM docs

ArmSoM-AIM7 uses Rockchip RK3588, a new generation flagship eight-core 64-bit processor with a main frequency of up to 2.4GHz, 6 TOPS computing power NPU, and can be equipped with up to 32GB of large memory. While the interface is fully compatible with Jetson Nano

Just as clarification: I'm obsessed with #SMARC #SystemOnModule because it specifies the power control and power states, while many proprietary SoMs either don't specify it or don't have it at all. And in particular, the Raspberry Pi CM4 has no sleep state at all. On or off are all you get.
I keep looking for moderately priced #SMARC #EmbeddedLinux #SystemOnModule with wifi for a #CyberDeck. It turns out Radxa (The RockPi people) *used* to make one, the Rock Pi N10, but they don't make any SMARC compatible boards anymore. 😐

Now I'm really leaning toward this Nitrogen8M Plus SMARC #SystemOnModule. It's expensiveish, and a little power hungry, but it has pretty great performance and features, and a standard form-factor. Should have no trouble running Firefox. I would definitely need to use 26650 #LiFePo4's to get my desired battery life. But at least the power consumption in standby is only 38mW. It's available in single quantity though Mouser.

I look for low power #SystemOnModule #EmbeddedLinux boards all the time for a #Cyberdeck, but I keep landing on the TS-4900 even though it's kind of expensive for the size and age. I would prefer something from the newer NXP series that are even more power efficient, but finding something that is available in small quantities is a big ask.
