i think i'm going to consider this project finished. hdmi #waveshare 6" screen and nuphy node75 guts to a contained usb hub with an hdmi port. free port routed to the #keyboard right side for the #8bitdo number pad connection. both shells are #3dprinting . both keyboard and numpad use ceramic low profile keycaps from #cerakey. gateron silver nano switches on main, brown on number pad.
both shells designed with #freecad - i had to split both parts of the keyboard shell to fit them on my printer
