This week I happily completed the kernel update on my RaspPi 5 running @openmediavault and found my drives on my PentaSATA hat unable to mount. The resolution is simple, check out the GitHub issue and the solution from the OP.

- 🔜 Furvester 7Updated my Raspberry Pi 4B recently, and everything broke.
I reinstalled the OS, thinking it was a hardware fault (due to having HDMI connected with a cheap switch, as this was the only thing that I changed (I THOUGHT)).
Today: Updates. Same faulty behavior.
Turns out the RPi Foundation shipped a broken kernel. All that troubleshooting for nothing... 🙃
I put a hold on kernel updates (and some others) on the affected device for now for a few months.
Take that as a reminder, ALWAYS do your stupid backups before you touch big updates, even if it seems pointless or 'too much work and everything will go fine anyway'! ☝️

Can only find 13 x 8mm ones, which are slightly too big, seems 10x8mmm would fit better
Also bought some 8mm circle labels, but not ideal either...
