С подачи двух путинисток Зельфиры Трегуловой и Ольги Свибловой степановские узоры для тканей лет восемь назад стали фирменной символикой города Москвы — в основном ремонтных заборов и праздничных конструкций для установки букетов из флагов. Цвета узоров были нацифицированы в белый, красный и синий ⁄statism⁄.
