I've realized the music I make is mostly akin to sound collage. even beat heavy stuff like this.
this track is drum synth, voice, and rain, all mangled in my sampler. sequenced in the piano roll with the grid turned off. just arranging rectangles into patterns. you can get pretty wild push/pull seasick swing rhythms that way.
i made a remix for frolic press. they are an indie publisher of weird fiction. this is for a companion cd of experimental music for an upcoming anthology of strange fiction.
the original track is pure electric chaos from yapping portal (angel marcloid / fire-toolz) , carl kruger & datewithdeath (travis johnson). my remix is some sort of hip hop sound collage.
