Started this Dark Tower piece from the Witchy Stitcher Retreat.
The contrast on the black fabric is already making me happy.

Last year I found a bunch of interesting looking DPNs, which probably are antique.
Today I finally got around to measuring them - the later ones are about 2 mm, the thinner ones are 1.5 mm ๐ฎ
I decided to try the larger ones on my next sock project
They work great, even when they are a bit longer than I like my needles. Completely smooth, the sts just glide along.
Next Textile Talk (free, Zoom, May 6, 2pm Eastern): Jim Arendt--Denim and Persistence in Difficult Times, SAQA
Jim Arendt's practice is rooted in understanding how we relate to labor. His close proximity to the manufacturing and agrarian landscapes of America, as well as the dramatic shifts in both sectors of the economy during Jim's lifetime, has led him to pursue an understanding of America's people and craft.
