Updated #introduction post!

I am one half of Toronto husband-and-wife indie game studio BancyCo (https://www.bancy.co/).

I design, code, write, and illustrate (sometimes) for our games. I've also created GameMaker tutorials (https://gamemaker.io/en/tutorials/little-town-gamemaker-tutorial) and consult with other developers.

When I can find time, I draw and write comics. For 13 years I taught illustration and game design classes at OCAD University.

I’m Robin, non-human, gendered(?) entity. Got AuDHD so naturally I ping-pong between interests quite frequently, but they tend to fall into the spheres of gaming (of the thinking sand, cardboard, and thicc book variety), computer tech, and software.

Seems like it's time for a lil #intro post.

I've been on Mastodon for two years. I fled my old account in the process of escaping my abuser, who ran the server. My toddler & I have been in hiding & I've been in court for much of this year.

I've trained as a playwright & I now blog at "Impure Leftist," a project to make activism practical and meaningful.

I also love Tarot, yoga, Brazilian Zouk partner dance, language learning, and board gaming.

Broadcasting live from a private instance, beyond the misty pines of a rainy valley.

I don't tend to post about any one specific thing, but I do tend to speak my mind around topics like #privacy, #tech and #art.

I'm in to 3D printing, FOSS, the supernatural, and heavily dithered ZX Spectrum styled photography.

I don't really subscribe to any one ideology, I think there's already too much that divides us, and not enough that unites us as humans. Be good, be kind, just be.
