An unmasked person coughed near me two weeks ago, & I developed pneumonia. In recovery, but slow.

When I see people who mask, I see love in action.

Green Fairy Dog

Legend from the Cairngorms. A strange dog seeks shelter in a shepherd's hut one night: she has green fur, red ears and gold eyes. The shepherd knows it's a fairy dog, but shelters her anyway. She disappears in the morning.

The next winter all the sheep get snowed in. As the shepherd struggles to dig them out, suddenly a pack of green dogs appear, and help him rescue the sheep.

There's definitely something to be said for taking a break between drafts to let your WIP settle.

I took a few weeks off from my rewriting and editing, and now that I'm back to it and re-reading my latest draft, I find I'm enjoying what I've written and falling in love with my story all over again.
