hashtag-importer, my tool to import hashtags into your own instance is famous now: @clonejo did a comparison with his own tool (also written in Rust 🦀) which uses a similar approach. Do give it a try to see if it matches your needs!

Welcome aboard, one of us, one of us, we accept you, one of us!

#hashtags are an important method of disseminating and finding topics of interest. Search is kinda broken. 🤷🏻‍♀️ @FediTips is a goldmine of useful info. There are a ton of artists and creators to discover.

It’s a pretty froopy place, I like it. I hope you do too. 🥳

@du_als_physiker Hi :) wenn das kein feedback ist :) aber das mit den #hashtags habt ihr anscheinend noch nicht verstanden. ist ja auch keine physik ;)

This brief highlight is pertinent to mental health professionals because it addresses mechanisms of chronic pain, a condition that often co-occurs with mood and anxiety disorders. The finding that damaged nerves can be revitalized by healthy mitochondrial transfer sheds light on potential biological underpinnings of pain perception and maintenance, which may inform holistic assessment and interdisciplinary approaches.

@Caro S. Also tag @palestine @lemmy.ml and @palestine @fedibird.com at the end of your message, in this order otherwise the Lemmy won't work, IIRC.
You can do that. But it's safer and more compatible with Lemmy to do it this way:

First paragraph: title. Something that Mastodon doesn't support (except for external blog posts), but that's mandatory when starting a new thread on Lemmy.

Second paragraph: mention. One (1) Lemmy community can be mentioned here. To my best knowledge, Lemmy does not support crossposting to multiple communities at once.

Below that: the actual post text.

In brief:
  • The mention goes above the post text. Not at the end.
  • Only one Lemmy community can be mentioned.
  • There must be a title above the mention.
  • There must only be a title above the mention.

Illustration:
Post title <- First line: title (and only the title goes here)

@[email protected] <- Second line: one (1) mention

Duis aute     <- Post text
irure dolor in reprehenderit in voluptate velit esse cillum    <- Post text
dolore eu fugiat nulla pariatur. Excepteur sint occaecat       <- Post text
cupidatat non proident, sunt in culpa qui officia deserunt     <- Post text
mollit anim id est laborum.                                    <- Post text

Also: Unless you also aim for visibility on Mastodon and other places that don't support groups, i.e. if you only aim to post to Lemmy, avoid hashtags.

For one, Lemmy doesn't support hashtags. Besides, not the whole Fediverse has a culture that comes from Twitter. Lemmy's culture is 99% Reddit's culture. Reddit doesn't have hashtags either. And some Lemmy users completely flip their shit when they see hashtags, just like some Mastodon users completely flip their shit when they come across a message with over 500 characters.

This brief highlights how early exposure to energy-ddense, palatable foods can shape later eating behaviors by altering neural circuits that regulate appetite. For mental health professionals, this underscores the potential long-term implications of early dietary patterns on self-regulation, reward processing, and susceptibility to future weight-related stress, which may intersect with mood and anxiety presentations.
