To provide more context: I’m watching the Resources monitor and whenever the game stutters, GPU usage plummets, and it looks like the NVME SSD that holds the game is spiking in read usage
My PC was working totally fine yesterday until I rebooted it. Suddenly every game I play is getting huge stuttering, including Left 4 Dead 2. FPS drops into the 20’s and there’s massive visual lag. I’m using Bazzite on my 3 year-old RTX 4090.
Has anyone experienced this and do you have any suggestions for what to try?

I've heard ThinkPads are generally the preferred choice, but open to other options. I'd like for the laptop to be relatively thin and not that expensive.
