The main propblem that I see with #DSA violations is the fact that "If the penalty for a crime is a fine, it's only illegal for the poor!", meaning that #NSAbook / #StasiBook will see violating #DataProtection as a mere "#BusinessExpense" in the #EU as none of the Execs get arrested, jailed or even wanted for questioning.

Alex@rtnVFRmedia Suffolk UK@kkarhan As an experiment, I asked Copilot to remove the background (the yard outside my work, and my garden) from pictures with a small dog and 2 cats (leaving me with the animal on a transparent background).
Rather than even admit the background was too busy and / or the animal pictures too small (although they could have been done manually by zooming into the photo), I got returned pictures of an entirely different dog (short haired Patterdale rather than Patterdale/Yorkshire cross) and two ginger cats became one ginger cat and a tabby.
OK this isn't photography for a zoology research paper, but the worst part was the whole bullshitting (rather than simply admitting it wasn't possible to do what I had asked), no way would I trust this for anything critical..
B KahnIn the not too distant future when AI is flying planes and a fire starts onboard, the pilot will find that he can't override the AI and the AI will decide to fly to a higher altitude because then when it shuts off the oxygen supply to passengers and crew, that will cut off air to the fire and put it out.
Or it will decide to make an emergency landing even though it's flying over a forest where there are no roads that it could possibly land on...
Or if it's over water, it will try to land at sea and pop open all the emergency doors to get water onboard to quench the fire...
Or it will radio for a fire truck and continue cruising at 30,000 ft...
Or it will turn itself into a loving religious AI bot and begin administering last rites...

@bkahn @vfrmedia And now you know why despite the fac that extremely tight regulation and order in #CivilAviation makes #Pilots one of the easiest to automate jobs, there's still the legal mandate to have 2 highly-trained professionals onboard that can if necessary go completely manual & visual at any moment in time should there be some hiccup or issue ranging from turbulences to medical emergencies to having to hold a waiting pattern next to the destination airport because another plane with urgency had to come in first of the wind has changed so having to approach 180° from the original plan is a desired to shorten the needed runway and enable a smoother landing...
- Stuff like that...
Besides, #pilots and #persons can be made liable, not computers.
- This is why pilots have to submit their flight plans before takeoff because they are supposed to think before acting...
