Because of the unstable situation in the US, which he helped to create and maintain, and the possibility that California may (gasp) tax billionaires, Thiel has moved to Argentina.

Does it seem odd to you that a man who views the Pope as the anti-Christ would move to a predominantly catholic country? That seems odd to me.

He's also bought land next door in Uruguay, because a man can never have enough bunkers.

It seems Thiel is reasonably protected in Argentina. At least, for as long as Milei remains in power.
